Cut off from the surrounding urban fabric of Poplar by the A12 since the 1960s, the site has become increasingly isolated and abused. We have worked with the London Development Agency on their CPO to facilitate comprehensive redevelopment of the 4.7ha site. Our development framework accommodates industrial workshops around courtyards, and a mixture of 340 family homes and apartments that define closes and gardens, opening onto the River Lea.
