Christopher Watson | RIBA

Christopher Watson was born in 1966 and studied architecture at the University of Cambridge, completing his diploma in 1991. He has worked for several practices in London, including Tim Ronalds Architects, where he was project architect on the award winning refurbishment of the Hackney Empire Theatre in East London and worked with William Mann on the 480 seat Landmark Theatre in Ilfracombe.

Since founding Witherford Watson Mann Architects in 2001, Chris has been project director for the Europan winning housing scheme in Stonebridge, Brighton Fringe Arts Production – a scheme to create a theatre and exhibition space and co-director on Amnesty International UK's new headquarters and the extension to the Whitechapel Art Gallery (construction commenced June 2007).
