Hoboken Administrative Building and One-Stop-Shop, Antwerp, Belgium | Competition organised by the Vlaams Bouwmeester, 2004

Park Sorghvliedt is an old aristocratic estate on the southern edge of Antwerp. The baroque house now serves as Hoboken's district centre and is suited to ceremonial events, but a new building was required to accommodate the contact centre and offices. The proposal responds to the formality of the house and parterre garden whilst establishing a more domestically scaled and informal interior for people to meet and work.
